First elected in 2012, Bill took office in the Kansas House of Representatives the following year, and he has since worked tirelessly to advocate for the needs of his constituents in Gardner, Kansas, and surrounding areas. Throughout his tenure, Representative Sutton has gained recognition for his leadership, particularly in the area of insurance policy, and his commitment to ensuring Kansas remains a state that fosters economic growth, fiscal responsibility, and access to quality healthcare.

Bill currently serves as Chairman of the House Insurance Committee, where he plays a pivotal role in shaping the state's insurance policies.
